Two AFL players charged in a strip club brawl should be sent back to Victoria, according to Queensland’s opposition leader, who accused Queens Landers of the latest “slap”.
Two Richmond players were arrested at 3:30 am Friday after being allegedly involved in a physical quarrel outside the Surfers Paradise strip club.

A Queensland police spokesperson said both men had maintained a facial industry and had been issued a ban notice excluding them from the Gold Coast nightclub district.
They were also fined for public nuisance.
The investigation is ongoing, but Liberal leader Deb Frecklington said he had made a “bad decision” that Anastasia Palashchuk “trusted these athletes to do the right thing.”
“Anastasia Paraschuuk laid a red carpet for AFL players, officers and their families, but Australians with serious medical conditions were ignored every day,” Ms. Freclinton said.
“If two players in a special AFL hub were in a strip club and were involved in a midnight brawl, they should be sent back to Victoria.
“Such reckless behavior endangers the lives and lives of the people of Queensland.”
An AFL spokesman said the league was “aware of the problem and is currently under investigation.”
