Mets signs minor league deal with Trevor Hildenberger

Mets signed a right-handed relief Trevor Hildenberger For minor league contracts SNY Andy Martino Tweet.

29-year-old Hildenberger reunites with Mets pitching coach Jeremy Hefner, who coached Hildenberger as an assistant in Minnesota in 2019. According to Martino, Hofner adopted Hildenberger for Mets.

Hildenberger is a three-year major league veteran, and his career got off to a fast start in 2017 as Softtos side armor threw a 4.21 ERA / 3.01 FIP ball at 9.43K / 9, 1.29 BB / 9, 58.8%. I did. Trevor MayMets signed a two-year, $ 15.5 million warranty last week.
