It has been a very busy holiday season for fans of the DeNA Pokemon Masters EX mobile game as there are two story events taking place: one involving presents the N of Pokémon Black and White, along with winter season characters; an Egg event featuring Fire, Rock, and Bug-type Pokémon and the recently updated Champion Stadium feature to include members of the Johto Elite Four. Surprisingly, the official Pokémon Masters Twitter account announced a New Years Eve themed story event called Happy Holidays, which will begin immediately after the Christmas-inspired Deck for the Holidays event concludes on December 31 at 10 p.m. PT – The characters at the center of this upcoming event will be Lance, Champion of the Elite Four members, along with Lillie from the Sun and Moon series.
Unlike previous mobile major event announcements, Pokemon Masters has yet to specify which Pokemon the two characters will pair with, though based on Lance’s dialogue in the short clip posted on Twitter, it appears he may have Gyarados as a partner. . A development update released by producers Yu Sakai and Tetsuya Iguchi on December 16 teased a New Years event, but did not provide information on which Pokémon will be included; but it lets fans know more about Skyla’s six-star update on January 10, 2021, followed by a Valentine’s Day event in February.
