This could double, triple, and even quadruple the display’s native refresh rate. The latter could easily go from 60 Hz to 120, 180 or even 240 Hz without worry.
As a reminder, a screen refresh rate is how often the screen updates its display. The higher the rate, the smoother the content displayed. For now, the refresh rate of the iPhone is 60 Hz, while the trend among other manufacturers is rather 90 or 120 Hz.
