Uri Frank, Intel Senior Vice President announced his retirement from the company, Shortly after the company announced its promotion. The circumstances of his retirement are not yet clear and various evaluations of associates estimate that he has received an offer for an attractive position.

Earlier this month, Intel Israel announced six appointments by Israelis to senior positions in the global organization, and Frank was named corporate vice president of Intel. The company noted that this is one of the highest ranks.
Frank is the director of Intel’s engineering organization in the Core & Client development group and currently manages some 2,000 employees in Israel, India and the United States.
