While Windows 11 is currently available to Insiders beta testers, many are curious how different the new update is and how to download it.
Now it’s official: Microsoft has announced the arrival of Windows 11 for October 5, 2021.
A “beta” version is out of the box and allows some advanced users to discover new features and interface. With streamlined widgets, a new Start menu, great game highlighting, and more, Windows 11 is causing crowds, and some PC users don’t have the patience to wait for the final version to release.
Windows 11 will be a free update if you are already updated to Windows 7 or any later version of the Microsoft operating system. So there is no reason to try to get a pirated version of an incomplete operating system.
Do you want to install the beta version? If you only have one PC, we recommend that you do without it, or at least install it on a separate drive, to avoid losing your most valuable data and the integrity of your machine. At least take the risk.

Windows 11: what are the minimum requirements?
- Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with at least two cores in a 64-bit processor or compatible SoC.
- LIVING MEMORY: 4 Go
- Storage : 64 Go
- System firmware: UEFI, secure boot supported
- RPM: Trusted Platform Module 2.0
- Graphic card : DirectX 12 or higher with WDDM 2.0 driver
- Monitor : 720p, 8 bits per color channel, at least 9 inches diagonal
- Internet connection and Microsoft account: Windows 11 Home requires an active Internet connection and Microsoft account to perform initial operating system setup

What else does Windows 11 offer?
If you’re still ready to test the beta, you’ll have access to an impressive number of new options.
Windows 11 now offers a more detailed performance review application, which can recommend certain tasks to better extend the life of your PC, be it a desktop or a laptop.

Be sure to check for updates when a new version is released to get the latest fixes and features in Windows 11.
Before you begin, make sure your PC meets the Windows 11 minimum specifications mentioned above. If this is the case, we recommend that you back up your PC before proceeding, to protect yourself from potential problems and to be able to restore your important files and settings if necessary.
Once this is done, you will need to sign up for the Windows Insider program.
1. Join the Windows Insider program
To do this, open the Settings app and click “Update & Security”, then “Windows Insider Program.”
You may need to enable optional diagnostic data to see this option. Go to Settings> Privacy> Diagnostics & Feedback and choose “Optional Diagnostic Data”.
In the “Windows Insider Program” window, click “Get Started” to register. In the window that appears, click “Link an account,” choose your Microsoft account, and click “Continue.”
2. Join the development channel
For now, the Insider version of Windows 11 is only available to people who use the Dev channel. This channel is intended for application developers and provides access to very early versions of Windows 11. Again, make sure you’re ready to install what it’s probably an early version with a few bugs and bugs in play.
If you want to keep a normal working PC, we would avoid installing Windows 11 for now. However, if you really want to test Windows 11, on the “Internal Settings” page that appears, select “Dev Channel” and then “Confirm.”
Another window will appear with an explanation of what to expect from this first version. If you agree to continue, click “Confirm”.
Then you will need to restart your PC. Make sure everything is backed up and click “Restart Now” in the window that appears.
3. Install Windows 11 Insider Preview
Once you have rebooted your machine, open the Windows Update application. You can do this by searching for “Windows Update” in the Windows 10 taskbar search bar.
You can also open it by going to Settings> Update & Security> Windows Update.
In the window that appears, click “Check for updates”. The Windows 11 Insider Preview build should appear, you can download and install it just like a normal Windows 10 update.
4. Perform a clean install of Windows 11
The steps above will upgrade your Windows 10 PC to Windows 11. However, if you want to install Windows 11 from scratch, you can download the Windows 11 Insider Preview ISO.
Make sure you sign up for the Windows Insider program and are on the dev channel (see steps 1 and 2 of this guide), then scroll to the bottom.
Under “Select Edition” choose Windows 11. Once the ISO has been downloaded, you will need to create a bootable USB stick or DVD.
