Members of the Požarevac Ministry of the Interior, with effective action, arrested AM (30) and EB (37) from Kostolac, due to the existence of a well-founded suspicion that they committed the crime of robbery.
It is suspected that the two, on October 16 in Kostolac, entered the home of a seventy-nine-year-old man and his seventy-six-year-old wife, tied them up and beat them several times, asking them to hand over gold and money, Novosti reports.
Then, as suspected, they took 10,000 dinars, a mobile phone and fled. On that occasion, the couple suffered minor injuries.
Police soon identified the suspects and found 127 pills on the list of psychoactive substances during the arrest in the morning, for which he will be charged with criminal charges due to the existence of grounds to suspect that he committed the crime of unauthorized possession of narcotics. .
By order of the prosecutor, the suspects were detained for a maximum of 48 hours and taken to the Požarevac General Prosecutor’s Office, together with a criminal report. After the hearing, the investigating judge ordered his detention for up to 30 days.
