TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – WhatsApp Business I got a new method to see account status updates. A new report from WhatsApp Role Tracker WABetaInfo explains that users can view business account status updates by tapping on the profile picture on the “business information” page.
The option is currently rolling out to beta testers and is expected implemented for broad users in a future update. This feature was discovered in WhatsApp code 2.21.17.5 a few months ago and was reportedly not available to any users, including stable or beta testers, at the time.
According to WABetaInfo, this update will give users two options, view the profile photo and view the status. “The application created by Facebook will retain the old method of seeing where the status updates are visible in the status tab,” said WABetaInfo, Monday, October 25, 2021.
Earlier this month, WhatsApp Business account holders received another feature called ‘Collections’ that allows them to better organize their catalogs and group items into categories. Also, WhatsApp is reported to be adding a new control bar in video mode picture in picture.
The control bar will allow WhatsApp Business users to quickly pause / resume video or open / close full screen mode. This feature is now only for videos on certain platforms.
