Yahoo, an international technology company in the United States, has ceased operations in China due to the imposition of government law Xi Jinping on Internet companies. The company said in a statement that the challenging situation in China was not conducive to its operations and therefore ceased operations on Monday.

The company is committed to providing uninterrupted services to clients. However, Yahoo said the government was taking steps to prevent it. The company also thanked its customers in China for their support thus far.
