The journey to a new and mysterious world begins now on Nintendo Switch
Now it’s spinning! With Kirby and the Lost Land for Nintendo Switch, players can look forward to an adventurous 3D platformer. In it, Kirby and his new friend, the inquisitive Elfilin, explore a desolate world where nature and civilization have merged. The current trailer on Nintendo’s official German YouTube channel offers a glimpse of the adventure.
The duo’s goal: to rescue the Waddle Dees kidnapped by the so-called beast pack. To do this, they run, jump and climb through the various regions of this new world. Especially eager players will find hidden areas, treasure, and other secrets in every nook and cranny. But numerous bad guys are also waiting for them. They counter them with a whole range of classic and all-new Kirby abilities. In addition to that, the new padding mode is available for them. This allows Kirby to even vacuum up objects such as a car or a vending machine and thus assume their forms, an often irreplaceable ability for overcoming obstacles and solving puzzles.
Another special feature of Kirby and the Forgotten Land: a second Nintendo Switch fan can join in as Waddle Dee’s assistant and join Kirby as a co-star. For cooperative play, only two adventurers have to share the Joy-Con, and voila!
There’s also time to take a deep breath and plenty to experience in the town of Waddle Dee, the central starting point of the journey. The more Waddle Dees players save over the course of their adventure, the more shops and mini-games they will offer here.
