Whatsapp: Messenger will soon be used on another mobile device

Date:

Users of the WhatsApp messaging service will soon be able to use the service on another mobile device. According to the special Wabetainfo blog, this requires linking your Whatsapp account with the second device, another Android phone or tablet, by scanning a QR code. It’s unclear when the mobile feature will come to Android devices. Such innovation has also been in the works for iOS tablet users for some time.

Currently it is already possible to connect your Whatsapp account to a desktop computer. Beta testers (multi-beta devices) can also link their Whatsapp account to more than one device.

In addition to the mentioned updates, according to wabeta info A poll feature for Whatsapp groups is currently being developed for desktop. In the future it should also be possible react to others’ stories with a heart, laughter, smiley gossip and co. WhatsApp itself also announced a few weeks ago that it was working on communities.
