On Netflix, HD streaming with HDR10 support will be possible on other Android mobile devices in the future. Cell phones from Oppo, Asus and OnePlus, among others, have received the certification.
Netflix now allows higher quality streams on OnePlus 10 Pro.
- Netflix certifies more Android devices for the HDR10 standard.
- This means that optimized HDR images can be viewed on the small screen.
- The newly certified devices come from Oppo, OnePlus and Asus.
Even if Netflix streams actually look better in UHD on a 4K TV, many users stream series and movies on the small screen, and soon in better quality.
With the HDR10 certification for HD streaming on Oppo, Asus and mobile devices one plus there are now significantly improved contrast values, colors and images optimized through metadata. Other mobile devices such as certain Google Pixel Phone models have long qualified for the standard.
