Physical Edition Bundles Base Game and Major Expansions for PS5 Players
Fans of chaotic sandbox gaming will soon have a new way to experience the absurd world of Goat Simulator. Developer Coffee Stain North announced that “Goat Simulator 3: Goat Overload Edition” will launch physically for PlayStation 5 on June 25 across North America, Europe and Asia.
The upcoming release packages together the base game and several expansions and downloadable content packs, offering PlayStation users a comprehensive edition of the popular comedy simulation title.
Originally revealed during the studio’s “Goat Direct 2026” showcase event, the Goat Overload Edition expands on the franchise’s signature mix of exaggerated physics, open-world exploration and intentionally unpredictable gameplay.
What’s Included in Goat Simulator 3: Goat Overload Edition
The physical PlayStation 5 release includes “Goat Simulator 3,” which supports multiplayer gameplay for up to four players and contains all previously released free seasonal updates.
The bundle also comes with two major expansions and several cosmetic DLC packs designed to expand the game’s chaotic universe.
Multiverse of Nonsense Expansion
The “Multiverse of Nonsense” expansion introduces new worlds and missions centered around Pilgor, the game’s recurring goat protagonist. The expansion follows Pilgor’s journey through alternate realities in an effort to save the multiverse.
The DLC adds new environments, gameplay mechanics and additional opportunities for the over-the-top destruction that has become synonymous with the franchise.
Baadlands: Furry Road Expansion
Another major addition in the package is “Baadlands: Furry Road,” a wasteland-themed expansion featuring a large desert environment filled with hidden secrets, challenges and chaotic encounters.
The expansion also teases a mysterious giant vault door, adding a layer of exploration to the game’s humor-driven gameplay style.
Additional DLC Packs Included
The Goat Overload Edition also contains several cosmetic and gear-focused DLC packs.
Digital Downgrade DLC
This pack includes remastered goat skins and content inspired by the original “Goat Simulator” and its earlier downloadable expansions, giving longtime fans callbacks to the franchise’s earlier entries.
Hocus Pocus Pack
The “Hocus Pocus Pack” adds magical-themed goat gear and fantasy-inspired customization options.
Super Duper Pack
The “Super Duper Pack” introduces superhero-themed goat equipment, allowing players to create even more exaggerated scenarios inside the game’s sandbox world.
Goat Simulator Franchise Continues Cult Success
Since the original “Goat Simulator” launched in 2014, the franchise has built a large following thanks to its intentionally glitch-heavy gameplay, slapstick humor and viral online appeal.
Rather than focusing on realism, the series embraces chaos, encouraging players to experiment with physics-based interactions, complete bizarre objectives and create unpredictable moments that frequently circulate on streaming platforms and social media.
“Goat Simulator 3” continued that formula when it launched, expanding the series into a larger multiplayer-focused open world while maintaining the franchise’s comedic identity.
The release of the Goat Overload Edition reflects the continued popularity of physical collector-style game bundles, particularly among console players looking for complete editions that include expansions and downloadable content in one package.
Goat Simulator 3: Goat Overload Edition will be available exclusively for PlayStation 5 beginning June 25.
