Konami has revealed the main English-language cast for Silent Hill: Townfall, offering a closer look at the psychological horror game’s characters, monsters and first-person gameplay. A new trailer premiered during Gamescom Opening Night Live ahead of the game’s September 24 release on PlayStation 5 and PC.
Silent Hill: Townfall Cast Features Jovan Adepo and Terry O’Quinn
Jovan Adepo, known for 3 Body Problem, IT: Welcome to Derry and The Odyssey, stars as protagonist Simon Ordell.
Simon is summoned back to St. Amelia, an isolated settlement in Scotland, with instructions to “put things right.” He awakens with few answers and soon begins receiving cryptic messages through a mysterious pocket television called the CRTV.
His fragmented memories and the strange transmissions gradually pull him deeper into the history of St. Amelia and the events that shaped the community.
Terry O’Quinn Plays the Mysterious Richard
Emmy Award winner Terry O’Quinn, known for Lost and The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, plays Richard.
Richard is the enigmatic figure responsible for calling Simon back to St. Amelia and setting the events of Townfall in motion. As Simon investigates the settlement, Richard’s connection to the town and its troubled history becomes increasingly significant.
Kezia Burrows, whose previous work includes Observation, joins the cast as Zoe, a compassionate nurse.
Zoe’s voice reaches Simon through static-filled transmissions on the CRTV, asking him to “come back to her.” Her determination to help people in need has also left her deeply connected to St. Amelia’s residents and its past.
New Trailer Reveals Monsters and St. Amelia’s Darker Side
The Gamescom trailer provides another glimpse at the horrors players will encounter while exploring St. Amelia.
Several threatening creatures appear alongside unsettling environments and imagery suggesting that the settlement’s outward appearance conceals a much darker history.
Silent Hill: Townfall is designed as a new interpretation of the long-running survival horror franchise while retaining its established themes of tragedy, mystery and loss.
Unlike several earlier entries in the series, Townfall is experienced entirely from a first-person perspective.
First-Person Gameplay Blends Exploration, Evasion and Combat
Players will explore St. Amelia as Simon while attempting to uncover what happened there and how his own past connects to the town.
Survival involves exploration and evasion alongside combat using a deliberately limited selection of weapons and tools. The CRTV serves as one of Simon’s most important devices, allowing him to tune into unstable signals that may contain information about his surroundings and past.
CRTV Plays a Central Role in the Mystery
Rather than functioning simply as a storytelling device, the pocket television is closely connected to Simon’s investigation.
Players will receive strange transmissions and messages through the CRTV while working through narrative-driven puzzles. Those clues gradually reveal details about St. Amelia and the events Simon struggles to remember.
Konami describes evasion as tense and combat as frenetic, suggesting that players will need to determine when to confront enemies and when escaping is the safer option.
Silent Hill: Townfall Launches September 24
Silent Hill: Townfall is scheduled for release September 24 on PlayStation 5, Steam and the Epic Games Store. Pre-purchases are available ahead of launch.
The Standard Edition is listed at £44.99 in the United Kingdom and €49.99 in Europe, while the digital-only Deluxe Edition is priced at £49.99 and €59.99, respectively.
With Jovan Adepo leading the cast alongside Terry O’Quinn and Kezia Burrows, Silent Hill: Townfall is combining first-person survival horror with a character-driven mystery centered on the isolated Scottish settlement of St. Amelia. Its Gamescom appearance provides the clearest look yet at the monsters, narrative puzzles and unsettling atmosphere players will encounter when the next chapter of Silent Hill arrives in September.
