KONAMI PRESS START to Feature New Looks at SILENT HILL: Townfall, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse and Rev. NOiR

Date:

KONAMI will showcase updates on several of its upcoming games during a new KONAMI PRESS START broadcast, with SILENT HILL: Townfall, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse and the recently announced RPG Rev. NOiR among the titles scheduled to appear.

The publisher said the presentation will be streamed worldwide beginning at 8 a.m. PDT on Sept. 3, giving U.S. viewers a closer look at upcoming releases through gameplay footage and messages from developers.

KONAMI PRESS START Will Showcase Upcoming Games

KONAMI PRESS START is the publisher’s informational broadcast focused on upcoming titles as well as games that are already available.

The Sept. 3 presentation is expected to combine game updates with new footage, including material that KONAMI says will be exclusive to the broadcast.

Three titles are currently at the center of the announced lineup: SILENT HILL: Townfall, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse and Rev. NOiR.

SILENT HILL: Townfall Set for Sept. 24 Release

SILENT HILL: Townfall will be one of the major games featured during the presentation ahead of its scheduled Sept. 24 release.

The broadcast is expected to provide additional information about the title alongside new gameplay footage and developer messages.

KONAMI also included a specific clarification regarding the wider Silent Hill franchise, stating that there will be no announcements concerning a remake of SILENT HILL during the broadcast.

The distinction sets expectations for viewers ahead of the presentation and keeps the focus on Townfall and the other confirmed games.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Arrives in October

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will also receive attention during KONAMI PRESS START.

The game is scheduled for release on Oct. 15, placing the broadcast several weeks ahead of its launch. KONAMI has indicated that the presentation will include footage and additional details from its upcoming lineup.

The Castlevania franchise remains one of KONAMI’s longest-running video game properties, making Belmont’s Curse another notable part of the publisher’s upcoming release calendar.

Recently Announced RPG Rev. NOiR Joins the Lineup

KONAMI will also feature Rev. NOiR, a recently announced role-playing game.

Unlike SILENT HILL: Townfall and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, the announcement did not provide a release date for Rev. NOiR. The upcoming broadcast could therefore serve as an opportunity for viewers to learn more about the RPG following its initial reveal.

KONAMI said developer video messages will be incorporated throughout the presentation, offering additional context on the games being shown.

Broadcast Will Stream on YouTube, Twitch and X

KONAMI PRESS START will be available simultaneously through YouTube, Twitch and X, allowing viewers in the United States and other markets to follow the presentation live.

The broadcast begins at 8 a.m. PDT, equivalent to 11 a.m. EDT for viewers on the U.S. East Coast.

KONAMI is also allowing fans to restream the presentation using the hashtag #KonamiPressStart, expanding the broadcast’s availability across gaming communities and creator channels.

KONAMI Prepares Updates Across Major Franchises

The latest KONAMI PRESS START comes as the publisher prepares releases across several established and new properties.

With SILENT HILL: Townfall arriving Sept. 24 and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse following Oct. 15, the presentation will offer a closer look at two games approaching launch while providing another opportunity to introduce players to Rev. NOiR.

For U.S. viewers, the Sept. 3 broadcast will begin at 11 a.m. EDT and 8 a.m. PDT, with new gameplay footage, developer messages and updates from KONAMI’s upcoming game lineup expected throughout the presentation.
