Gaming accessory maker CRKD has begun worldwide shipments of the ATOM+, a compact Bluetooth controller designed to provide a traditional gamepad control layout in a keychain-sized form factor. The new model supports Nintendo Switch 2, the original Nintendo Switch, PC, mobile devices, tablets and smart TVs.
Priced at $29.99 in the United States, the ATOM+ builds on CRKD’s original ATOM controller with dual thumbsticks, additional controls and expanded customization features.
CRKD ATOM+ Combines Portable Design With Full Controls
The ATOM+ is designed to be small enough to attach to a keychain, backpack or bag while still offering the primary controls expected from a conventional gaming controller.
Its layout includes twin thumbsticks, action buttons, digital triggers, shoulder buttons and toggle controls. The controller also supports vibration feedback, motion controls and a Turbo Mode that can automate repeated button inputs.
CRKD is offering the ATOM+ in four color options: Smoke Black, Glacier Blue, Retro Purple and Pal Grey.
A wrist strap is included, allowing players to secure the controller during use or attach it to other items when carrying it.

Magnetic Sensor Technology Replaces Mechanical Contact
One of the ATOM+’s major hardware additions is the use of TMR, or tunneling magnetoresistance, technology in both thumbsticks.
TMR uses magnetic sensing rather than relying on the physical contact mechanisms found in traditional analog sticks. CRKD says the technology is designed to improve precision and power efficiency while reducing the risk of stick drift associated with mechanical wear.
The technology provides an alternative to Hall-effect sensors, which have also become increasingly common in modern gaming controllers as manufacturers look for ways to improve analog stick durability.
Bluetooth Supports Multiple Gaming Platforms
The ATOM+ uses Bluetooth for wireless connectivity and can pair with several types of devices.
Supported platforms include Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Windows PCs, smartphones, tablets and compatible smart TVs.
A built-in rechargeable battery supplies power, with charging handled through USB-C.
The broad device support positions the ATOM+ as a portable secondary controller for players who regularly move between console, PC and mobile gaming.
Companion App Enables Button Remapping
Players can further configure the ATOM+ through the CRKD Companion App.
The software allows users to remap programmable buttons, adjust vibration feedback, install firmware updates and manage other controller settings through the CRKD CTRL dashboard.
These customization options provide additional flexibility despite the controller’s small physical dimensions.
True Collection System Tracks Individual Controllers
Like other CRKD accessories, the ATOM+ also works with the company’s True Collection System.
Owners can register their controller through the app to reveal its unique product number and rarity rank. Registered devices can then be added to a user’s digital CRKD product collection.
The feature reflects CRKD’s focus on positioning its hardware as both functional gaming accessories and collectible products.
