Acer is working on NVMe drives and DDR4 memory modules from the Predator family

Date:

Acer decided to test its strength in the solid-state drive and RAM segment. The Taiwanese vendor will soon offer the Predator GM3500 series of PCI Express 3.0 x4 SSDs, as well as DDR4 RAM modules from the Predator Apollo and Talos lines.

Unfortunately, Acer is in no rush to reveal the detailed features of the new products. The Chinese firm Biwin is known to act as an OEM manufacturer of SSD and RAM modules. It also has partnerships with many other vendors, such as HP, for the EX900 Pro, EX950, and other products.

Predator Apollo DDR4

The Predator Talos DDR4 line of RAM is designed for the mainstream consumer. Modules in this series are equipped with a black and white heat sink and lack backlighting. At the same time, the well-known Samsung B-die chips are used in the Predator Apollo DDR4 trims, and the top is decorated with RGB LEDs.

The Acer Predator GM3500 NVMe drives, as mentioned above, use the PCI Express 3.0 x4 connection interface and provide sequential read and write speeds of up to 3400 and 3000 MB / s, respectively. Acer will announce more information on new products in the near future.
