Find here all the announcements made by Capcom during the conference on Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2.

For all the licensing fanatics Monster hunter, Capcom hosted an event focusing on the last two games, namely Monster hunter rise, released on March 26, and Monster Hunter 2 Stories, scheduled for July 9. During the Monster Hunter digital event, Capcom focused on these two games and announced many new features, including additional content for Monster hunter rise.

Monster Hunter Rise: version 2.0 on the way

In order to Monster hunter rise, the long-awaited 2.0 update will debut on Switch on April 28. It is accompanied by a new trailer that features additional content. First of all, we learn that new monsters are coming soon. Indignant Chameleons which was announced in March by Capcom, we also found Kushala Daora Y Teostra, which are ancient dragons. In addition to these monsters, new quests associated with the Devils and the Upper Rathalos will be available.

Event missions will also be added. They can be played and played, even offline. Additionally, this update unlocks the Hunter rank. By unlocking this rank, you will have access to more missions, like Calamities missions and Arena missions, for example.

Finally, at the character level, you can now buy the right to a visual modification of your character. Capcom is generous as they offer you the first coupon, so you will have to go to the Nintendo eStore to get it for free. There will be other options available, such as customizing your character’s voice, new gestures, and stickers.

The update, of course, will be free. However, some customization items will be charged and available through “Downloadable Content Pack 2”. Capcom ended up unveiling the roadmap for Monster hunter rise and meet the players in May for update 3.0.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: a new trailer presented

Regarding your next game Monster Hunter 2 Stories, Capcom has unveiled a new epic trailer. In it, we see the return of the characters Lilia and Reverto. It still portrays the story of a legendary Rathalos born without his wings but with immense and destructive power.

Capcom has revealed some information about the game, and more specifically about the combat mechanics. Like the first game, it is a turn-based combat but with more strategic options to adapt to each fighting style. There are three main qualities, namely speed, strength and technique, which complement and balance each other. Your character can also target certain parts of the body monsters to achieve different results. As some parts of the body are damaged, monsters can be deprived of certain attacks or even stunned.

Finally, you will have a chance to fight with reinforcements by your side. To do this, you will need to find combat partners in the open world and attract them to fight with you. You can be joined by up to four additional players, as well as their respective Monsties. This action will increase your friendship rating with these characters.
