The founder of Tesla and SpaceX, the American billionaire Elon Musk, preferred cryptocurrency, choosing between it and fiat money.
The entrepreneur wrote about this on his Twitter account.
In a social network, one of the users asked Musk what he thinks of those people who are angry with him for the cryptocurrency. In response, he responded that a real battle started between fiat money and cryptocurrency.
“The real battle is between fiat money and cryptocurrencies. Ultimately, I support the latter,” Musk wrote.
Fiat money: paper and credit money, not backed by gold and other precious metals, the face value of which is established and guaranteed by the state, regardless of the cost of the material used for their manufacture.
Recall that Elon Musk said that Tesla sold 10% of its bitcoins. The entrepreneur has put cryptocurrencies on the agenda of many corporations around the world by investing in bitcoins.
It was also reported that Elon Musk withdrew the decision on Tesla so Bitcoin jumped. The reason was the damage to the environment caused by cryptocurrency mining.
