Are there any surprises in the system requirements?

Hogwarts Legacy is a new action role-playing game set in the Harry Potter universe. In order to get into the open world for the February launch, players must have at least half of their hardware up to date – the system requirements for the game were recently posted on Steam.

Small difference

The minimum requirements are at one for moderns. games usual range. Specifically, developers require an Intel Core i5-8400 or an AMD Ryzen 5 2600. Assuming perfect resolution scaling, Hogwarts Legacy could only be tweaked for UHD gamers: There’s still no graphics card that’s four times faster than a GTX 1080 Ti. By the time the game launches, both AMD and Nvidia will have new top-of-the-line GPU models, and in an emergency you can of course use a reduced anti-aliasing or scaling algorithm.
