Delaware Liberty 12U enjoying game titles in Maryland

The Delaware Independence 12U softball team coached by Chuck Hudson performed in the Delaware Point out Championships July 4 weekend. The tournament was held in Salisbury, Md., which has considerably less-restrictive rules than Delaware.

The Liberty defeated Diamond Point out Swoop 27-2, then shed to Delaware Fury 9-2. Independence was eradicated by Delaware Magic 12-11 in excess innings.
