There was confusion about the exclusivity of FINAL FANTASY 16, which was explained in last night’s release: PlayStation 5 “Console Limited”..
The game was shown to be running on a PC during Sony’s PlayStation 5 showcase, and its trailer ended with the title card “PlayStation console only. Also available on PC.”
There is no mention of timed console exclusivity or whether the PC will boot at another time.
But shortly after the presentation, trusted industry analyst Peers Harding Rolls told Sony that “six months are completely monopolized and consoles are monopolized for twelve months” on the PC six months after the PS5. He said it suggests that it will appear. Also, after a year, you can start it freely anywhere else.
Those are the terms of the deal, and Harding-Rolls continued, but whether FINAL FANTASY 16 actually reaches this time frame exactly on the PC or elsewhere-on the Xbox Series X-anyway, Square Enix. Depends on the development team of. Ready to go
There is no official confirmation that FF XVI will appear on the PC, but the contract structure and references in the Sony PS5 showcase suggest that this is the case. If this arrives after the end of the 6-month contract period, it will obviously go down to SE. / 2

This morning, I asked Square Enix to explain the release and exclusive rights of FINAL FANTASY 16, but the publisher couldn’t provide it.
“There is no further information on whether FINAL FANTASY 16 will be released on platforms other than PS5,” a Square Enix spokeswoman said.
With FINAL FANTASY 16 at the top of the PlayStation showcase, the bold promise of console exclusivity is clear to leave the impression that Sony consoles will be the only place to play games in the near future. It is designed. Such bills probably won’t come cheap. All the prices of it are the subsequent mess.
