Gilstrap Does Not Delay Virus “Clash Royale” Patent Trial

Law360 (September 9, 2020, 6:43 pm EDT)-US District Court Justice Rodney Gilstrap Wednesday declines to postpone Texas federal court patent trial against Supercell, maker of “crash royal” mobile games However, the game company’s late bid took place just 36 hours before the scheduled jury election on Thursday.

In July, U.S. judge Roy S. Payne pushed the trial on August 3 until September, postponing it by Japanese game maker Gree, who accuses Superseloy of infringing two patents. Said he did not oppose.
