Ukrainian-founded gaming hardware brand HATOR has officially entered the United Kingdom market, introducing its Skyfall MAG Ultima 8K wireless mechanical keyboards as part of a broader international expansion. The company announced on October 15, 2026, that its gaming peripherals are now shipping across the UK, with North American distribution expected to begin in early 2027.
The expansion marks another step in HATOR’s efforts to reach competitive gamers and everyday PC users with high-performance gaming equipment.
HATOR Brings Advanced Gaming Hardware to the UK
Established in 2013 during the growth of competitive esports, HATOR developed its products through collaboration with gaming communities and professional esports organizations.
The company has since expanded its hardware portfolio to include keyboards, gaming headsets, microphones, and gaming chairs, establishing a presence across several European markets.
Its latest international expansion centers on the Skyfall MAG Ultima 8K Wireless Keyboard, which combines magnetic switch technology, high polling rates, and extensive customization options.
The keyboard is available in two configurations: an 80% layout for users who prefer additional keys and a compact 65% version designed for smaller gaming setups.
Skyfall MAG Ultima 8K Features 8000Hz Polling and Magnetic Switches
The Skyfall MAG Ultima 8K supports three connectivity options: USB wired, Bluetooth 5.3, and 2.4GHz wireless.
According to HATOR, the keyboard delivers an 8000Hz polling rate in both wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes, allowing it to report input information to a connected computer up to 8,000 times per second.
It also features a 64,000Hz key scanning rate, designed to detect key activity with greater frequency.
These specifications target competitive gaming environments where input responsiveness and precise movement controls are particularly important.
Aurum Ice Magnetic Switches Offer Adjustable Actuation
The keyboard uses HATOR Aurum Ice magnetic linear switches, which provide adjustable actuation distances and several configurable input functions.
Its main features include Dynamic Key Stroke (DKS), which supports up to four actions on a single key, and Rapid Trigger technology with 0.01mm adjustment precision.
Additional functions include Press and Click (MT) for dual-function inputs, Toggle Switch (TGL) for automatic press modes, and Snap Key for prioritizing the most recently pressed directional input.
The switches are rated for 100 million actuations and support hot-swapping without soldering.
Full N-key rollover allows multiple simultaneous key presses to be registered.
Keyboard Design Includes TFT Display and Customizable RGB Lighting
HATOR has equipped the Skyfall MAG Ultima 8K with a gasket-mounted construction designed to reduce vibrations and improve typing comfort.
The keyboard incorporates multiple layers of noise-dampening materials and double-shot PBT keycaps with illuminated legends.
A built-in 0.85-inch TFT screen allows users to display keyboard information, animations, and personalized graphics, including gaming team logos.
An integrated multimedia control knob provides additional access to adjustable functions.
Per-Key RGB Lighting Supports 16.8 Million Colors
The keyboard includes individually customizable RGB lighting with a palette of 16.8 million colors.
Users can configure lighting effects, macros, profiles, and advanced keyboard settings through HATOR’s Web SyncHUB interface.
The browser-based platform supports Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS without requiring additional software installation.
For offline configuration, HATOR also offers its PC SyncHUB application for 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems.
The company states that its configuration software does not require account registration or collect telemetry, analytics, or personal information.
Skyfall MAG Ultima 8K Battery Life and Technical Specifications
Battery capacity differs between the two keyboard configurations.
The Skyfall Wireless 65 includes a 4,000mAh battery, while the larger Skyfall Wireless 80 features an 8,000mAh battery.
HATOR lists battery life of up to 24 hours with backlighting enabled and up to 533 hours without lighting. Charging can take up to 16 hours.
Other specifications include a 3.5mm total switch travel distance, 45gf nominal actuation force with a ±5% tolerance, and OMA-profile PBT keycaps.
Each package includes the keyboard, a 2.4GHz wireless dongle, a detachable USB-A to USB-C cable, a keycap removal tool, an additional branded keycap, and a user manual.
HATOR Plans North American Expansion in 2027
HATOR Chief Product Officer Oleg Moroz emphasized the company’s focus on gaming communities and product development.
“Since 2013 we have been laser focused on working with gamers and the community to design, engineer and build superior gaming products which improve performance and stand apart from the sea of mediocrity available in our sector. Nowhere is this philosophy more evident than with our new range of Skyfall magnetic keyboards. Our engineers have delivered what we believe to be advanced engineering, innovation, a feature set unlike any other, and with a price designed to pleasantly surprise the passionate gamer. We can’t wait to bring our range to UK gamers and look forward to organically growing our distribution footprint throughout 2027.”
Although HATOR has not announced specific United States pricing or availability dates, North American shipments are expected to begin in early 2027.
The UK launch introduces HATOR’s magnetic keyboard technology to another major gaming market while establishing a foundation for its planned North American expansion. With adjustable magnetic switches, high-speed connectivity, and cross-platform customization, the Skyfall MAG Ultima 8K will compete in the growing market for performance-focused gaming keyboards.
