You’ve also ordered the new Steam Deck and are now wondering when you’ll finally receive the promised confirmation email with which you can place your final order. So we can help you, because there’s finally a page where you can see exactly when you’ll likely be able to complete your order and receive a Steam Deck.

However, this is just a little help for pre-orders. They have to wait a long time for their devices. New customers still need to be patient, not everyone interested will be able to get their hands on a Steam Deck this year. Even those who participated in the pre-order campaign relatively quickly and are still waiting can now be postponed until next quarter.

Steam Deck was officially released on February 25 (Steam Deck Release). However, by far not all pre-ordered devices have been delivered. Valve wants to bring new margins to people every week. So anyone who has previously made a reservation for 4 euros will probably only have taken a place on a long waiting list. Some suggest that the number of weekly devices that can actually be shipped is in the thousands, not millions.

You can check the status of your (pre)order here: https://store.steampowered.com/steamdeck (You must be logged in)

There you will find a date below your reserved version. On this day you can expect to receive an email confirmation of your order. Once you’ve completed the checkout process, you should receive the Steam Deck (really) shortly after that. We keep our fingers crossed.

Your opinion:

Are you waiting for a Steam platform? When did you pre-order? What does the Steam page show you?
