Russia cybercrime sad cyber attack

The United States received a promise from Russia to take action based on the cybercrime information sent to it, said the president’s deputy adviser for national security, Ann Nuberger.

“It will be a test of their willingness to act. They promised to take action based on that information that was given to them,” said the deputy.

In his opinion, the Russian authorities are able to solve problems with hacker attacks from territory under their control.

Nieberger recalled that Washington continues to consult with Moscow on the fight against cybercrime.

“We are participating in that open and direct dialogue “To present our expectations, please listen to the expectations of the Russian side and let’s work together to eliminate mutual threats,” he said.

He also said that CIA Director William Burns discussed a number of issues with Russian authorities during his visit to Moscow, including cyber security.

Western countries have repeatedly accused Russia of meddling in internal affairs and cyberattacks. Russia has denied all the allegations, saying the West has not provided any evidence. Moscow has repeatedly stated that it is ready for a dialogue on cybersecurity.
