A new gaming industry event will bring major publishers, developers, investors and technology companies to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this December. The inaugural Kingdom of Gaming is expected to draw more than 20,000 attendees as organizers seek to create a new platform for investment, partnerships and industry development.
The event will take place Dec. 1-3, 2026, at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Center in Malham.
Savvy Games Group, Ubisoft and Roblox Join Kingdom of Gaming
Kingdom of Gaming organizers have named Savvy Games Group, Ubisoft and Roblox as the event’s first Global Gaming Leaders, with additional participants expected to be announced before December.
The three-day gathering is projected to include 500 studios and developers, 300 exhibitors and sponsors, and 200 investors. Participants will represent game development, publishing, technology, esports, investment and government.
Founding Partners include Tuwaiq Academy, NEOM and Amazon Web Services. PUBG MOBILE, Unreal Engine, Tencent Cloud, Impact46 and Merak Capital are also among the organizations expected to participate.
Amr Sager, Chief of Staff at Savvy Games Group, said: “Saudi Arabia is quickly becoming a global hub for games, esports and a thriving industry ecosystem for long-term growth. Bringing industry leaders, investment and technology partners and the gaming community together here in Riyadh can help to encourage future collaborations and ongoing opportunities”.
More Than 200 Speakers Planned Across Four Stages
Kingdom of Gaming is scheduled to feature more than 200 speakers across four stages.
Confirmed participants include Sir Ian Livingstone CBE, Co-Founder and General Partner at Hiro Capital; Julien Merceron, CTO at Bandai Namco Studios and Delphi Interactive; Saifi Ismail, President of Yalla Group and GM of RHQ; Riley Russell, Head of US Studio at Kojima Productions; and Omer Faruk Gungor, Studio Director at Motion Blur Game Studio.
Sessions will address gaming investment, changes in industry ownership, artificial intelligence in game development, original intellectual property, talent development and the creation of gaming ecosystems.
Programming will be distributed across areas including the Main Stage, Investor & Startup Stage and KoG Academy.
Investment and Game Development Take Center Stage
Beyond presentations and panel discussions, the event will include workshops, training programs, networking sessions, investor meetings and executive roundtables.
The KoG Academy will focus specifically on skills and game development, connecting emerging creators with training and opportunities to present their work.
Its programming will include Made in the Kingdom, supported by Unreal Engine, which will give creators an opportunity to develop and showcase projects within the wider event.
PUBG MOBILE to Showcase Saudi Student Creators
PUBG MOBILE will bring its World of Wonder creator ecosystem to Kingdom of Gaming.
The company plans to showcase content created by Saudi students on the exhibition floor. Additional information about the program is expected closer to the event.
The initiative builds on PUBG MOBILE’s previous work with student creators in Saudi Arabia, with an emphasis on game creation and user-generated content.
Annabelle Mander, Executive Vice President at Tahaluf, said: “The gaming industry has evolved into one of the world’s most creative and commercial sectors, but there are very few platforms that bring together every part of that ecosystem. Kingdom of Gaming has been built to connect the people making investment decisions, developing games, building technology and creating new business opportunities. Our ambition is simple: to make Riyadh a place where the global gaming industry comes together to do business.”
Event Will Combine Industry Conference With Consumer Festival
Kingdom of Gaming will combine its business-focused programming with a consumer festival for gaming fans.
The format is designed to allow companies to meet investors, developers and technology providers while also engaging directly with players. Organizers say the event will connect international gaming expertise and capital with Saudi Arabia’s expanding community of developers, creators and players.
Kingdom of Gaming will also be co-located with Black Hat MEA, bringing the gaming and cybersecurity communities to the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Center during the same three-day period.
With major gaming companies, investors, technology providers and emerging creators expected to participate, the inaugural Kingdom of Gaming will serve as a meeting point for both the commercial and creative sides of the industry when it opens in Riyadh in December.
