Lineage – NCsoft release the Lineage Classic site teaser

Date:

After Aion a few months ago, Lineage will obviously also have its Classic servers in South Korea, to invite players to (re) discover the antediluvian MMORPG as it was when it was released in 1998.

Classic lineage

Last November, NCsoft (re) released Aion Classic, a version of the MMORPG as it was when it was launched in 2009: South Korean players have responded overwhelmingly (the turnover generated by the MMORPG has increased by more than 276% in a semester) and the South Korean group clearly intends to repeat the experience , but this time with the first Lineage.

NCsoft has just implemented a teaser site in Lineage Classic colors and showing a countdown that promises details to June 16 – NCsoft should detail its plans for the game as part of a conference hosted at its facilities (including the version of the game that could be resurrected), in addition to releasing the first trailers of this Lineage Classic.

As a reminder, the first Lineage was released in 1998 and since then the MMORPG has established itself as one of the benchmarks of the massively multiplayer genre in South Korea, whether on PC or various on mobile platforms with Lineage Mobile. How about, to relaunch the license again for a few years, even if the versions classic of your suite, Lineage 2, did not fully meet the expected success.
