We have the first big results to report for the 2021 World Cup! Today, Saturday night, the last games and the best-of-5 series of the upstream Play-Ins stage ended. Groups are fixed

After the twelve teams that were firmly qualified for the group stage had already qualified in groups A to D, the remaining four places, one per group, were drawn and completed with the end of the play-ins. This results in the following constellations:

South Korean Hanwha Life Esports, who dominated the decisive series for group stage participation with 3-0 against Beyond Gaming, faces PSG Talon (PCS # 1), Fnatic (LEC # 2) and Royal Never Give Up (LPL # 3). There we also have four teams from four different regions.

Last but not least, the only completely undefeated team in the Play-In stage, LNG Esports, which secured first place in Group A at 4-0, joins Group D of the World Cup group stage. 2021. LEC MAD Lions champion Gen. G (LCK # 2) and Team Liquid (LCS # 2) await the Chinese there.
