Pencil-drawn online games are not unheard of in 2D game titles, but seeing monotone pencil textures on 3D styles is more unheard of. They’re uncanny genuinely, which I suppose is a fantastic suit for horror. Mundaun is an indie horror video game set to folk legends in a secluded valley in the Alps. It is demonstrated up once again in a new trailer to announce a spring 2021 launch date.
“After understanding of his grandfather’s mysterious loss of life in a fire, the protagonist travels to Mundaun for the first time given that childhood,” say Concealed Fields. “He will quickly explore that a little something old and diabolical is haunting the remaining inhabitants.” You are going to resolve puzzles and uncover strategies during your trek up Mundaun mountain, if the creepy area legends don’t snatch you initial, that is.
“The previous and its buried strategies are a huge concept all over Mundaun,” developer Michel Ziegler advised RPS in 2018, unearthing the people horror of Mundaun. “On his journey up the mountain, the player will uncover what transpired piece by piece via dreamlike flashbacks.”
Mundaun’s new trailer and listing of features undoubtedly give off the vibe of a countryside comprehensive of strategies originally unknowable to an outsider. It reminds me a little bit of the quiet creepiness in The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter. “Interact with its eccentric inhabitants who even have their have obscure spoken language,” Concealed Fields say. “Beware of the creatures roaming the landscape.”
Mundan was previously envisioned someday in 2019. It’s now planned to start in spring 2021. You can locate it in excess of on Steam right up until then.
