Date:

POT: In the next three years, a historical event will occur again in the space universe. For the first time in 2024, a black man and woman will set foot on the moon. NASA is preparing to send American astronauts to the moon as part of its Artemis mission program. Elon Musk’s SpaceX has been awarded the contract to develop its first commercial human lander. NASA has signed a 215 billion rupee deal with SpaceX for the mission.

NASA has chosen SpaceX to send humans back to the moon after the Apollo mission, Elon Musk said through his social networks.

Significantly, Blue Origin, owned by Jeff Bezos, the world’s richest man and owner of Amazon, was also in the running to win the NASA contract. Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin was a joint venture between Lockheed Martin Corporation, Northhop Groomer Corporation, and Draper Dynamics. But in the end, Elon Musk’s SpaceX won.

According to Reuters, SpaceX will have to test a lander that will take the astronaut to the moon. According to NASA, NASA will send four astronauts to the Orion spacecraft in lunar orbit. Two of the astronauts will be transferred to the SpaceX Human Landing System and then land on the moon. After a week of research, they will return to the Orion spacecraft.
