Netflix begins offering mobile games with your subscription

Date:

A few weeks ago, we learned that Netflix would launch into games in 2022. With this in mind, the American company is now testing adding mobile games to its subscription at no additional cost. At the moment, this experience concerns only Polish Netflix subscribers who can, from now on, play Stranger Things 3 and Stranger Things: 1984 for free. We already knew it The first Netflix games would be on mobile, but we still did not know how the SVOD platform would incorporate them into its offering. Regarding this launch on Netflix Poland, the firm recalls “We are at the beginning and we have a lot of work to do in the coming months, but this is the first step.“.

  • No advertising in games
  • No in-app purchases
  • Games are available for free with Netflix subscription.

If we believe the advertisements of Netflix, The mobile games offered in the application will be free, without microtransactions and without advertising.. A model that could attract a good number of players on smartphones, if the catalog is there. Clearly, it is still a bit early to draw conclusions about the arrival of Netflix in games. There is always that The video streaming giant’s strategy may well pay off since it still has no competitor in this field.
