After adding the ability to create folders to the Nintendo Switch menu in the latest system update, Nintendo just got the new Updated 14.1.0 published. From now on you will be optional Platinum Points Information get, which you can get through quests. Here are the official patch notes from Nintendo’s German website:

Added “Platinum Points Notification Settings” option under “Notifications” in System Preferences. You will be notified of Platinum Points earned by completing Missions and Rewards. By turning these notifications OFF, you will not see any notifications if you have Platinum Points that have been available to collect for a period of time.
At English patch notes mentions that you will only receive notifications for platinum points that have not yet been claimed.
