New Delhi: The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) plans to raise 15 billion rupees through divestment by March 2024. For this, NTPC will list its three subsidiaries NTPC Renewable Energy, NEEPCO (North Eastern Electric Power Corporation) and NTPC Electricity Trading Corporation on the stock Exchange. Create a list of three subsidiaries

The company will include three subsidiaries to achieve its divestment target of 15 billion rupees. In addition, it will sell its stake in NSPCL (NTPC-Cell Power Company Limited). It is believed that this work will be completed in this exercise. It is a joint venture between NTPC and SAIL with a 50 percent stake. The company was founded on February 8, 1999.

The list will be completed in October 2022.

According to sources, the list of NTPC REL (NTPC Renewable Energy) will be completed in October 2022. NTPC has a 100% stake in it. Currently, the company has a 3,450 MW project, of which 820 MW are under construction. A power purchase agreement for 2,630 MW is being worked on. The company was founded in October 2020 to start a renewable energy business.
