Oppo introduced the Reno5 phones on December 10, but only brought the models to the forefront Oppo Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G. As expected, the model debuted today Oppo Reno5 Pro + which inaugurates a powerful new photographic sensor from Sony.
The new Oppo Reno5 Pro + weighs only 185 grams and measures 8 mm at the waist. On the front we find the 6.55-inch AMOLED screen, with FHD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz sample rate. It also offers HDR10 + support. Therefore, it is similar to the Oppo Reno5 Pro model, which has the same screen size. The 32 MP selfie camera is located on the left side of the screen, framed in a polka dot cutout. The fingerprint sensor is also built into the screen.
Inside, the phone integrates a state-of-the-art chipset, found in many 2020 flagships – Snapdragon 865. The phone is available in two versions: 128GB storage + 8GB RAM or 256GB storage + 12 GB of RAM. As for the cameras, it inaugurates a new sensor Sony IMX766 50 MP with OIS on the back.

The terminal is available in the “Starry Dream” tonality, with a pattern that changes according to the light and “Floating Night Shadow”, a very interesting textured black. Oppo Reno5 Pro Plus comes with Android 11 along with the ColorOS 11 interface applied and will be available in China from next month. The price of the model with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage is around 500 euros, and the model with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage will cost 565 euros. There is no information yet on whether this model will make it to Europe.
