Overwatch: a mobile version of the game in development

Date:

A few days ago we learned that Blizzard was again postponing the release of Overwatch 2. The news had scolded gamers around the world, who are seriously beginning to wonder if the game will see the light of day. However, a recent job offer for a Product manager seems to indicate that a mobile version of the FPS could well be in development.

“Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Product Manager to help us create the best mobile gaming experiences in the world. This person will be working on various titles: Diablo, Overwatch, Hearthstone and many other great games.”

Not that surprising when you consider that the studio had warned in the past that Overwatch was just the beginning and that ambition wasextend the license beyond FPS. At the moment, this is the only information we have. But it seems legitimate to ask questions regarding the rather chaotic development experienced by the second installment of the franchise …

After the release of Overwatch on Switch, Blizzard may be looking to expand its Asian community, the continent is particularly fond of mobile games. We may have to wait a bit longer before learning a little more about this project.

The fifth season of the Overwatch League will begin next April, making it the big return of the transfer window. And surprise, our national Gael “Poko” Gouzerch joins the London Spitfire team after wearing the Philadelphia Fusion colors for four years.
