Amazon Prime users are about to receive a welcome gift: the Playstation 5 is about to come Amazon in a parenthesis exclusively for “Prime” subscribers. In short, one more caress for subscribers, who will be able to make the PS5 theirs from the next few hours without queuing. Unlike the “drops” that occurred in other markets such as MediaWorld or Gamestop, in fact, everything on Amazon is immediate: entry, your order is yours. Yet for two days exclusivity is limited to Prime subscribers (but there is a catch).
PS5 on Amazon
Right now the official page it still indicates console unavailability, but it’s probably only a matter of hours. In fact, this is what the description says:
Amazon Prime customers will have priority access to PlayStation 5 until July 16, 2021
If you are a Prime subscriber, all you have to do is reach the page at the right time – we will report any news directly on this page. However, if you are not a subscriber, you can do it NOW, taking advantage of the first month for free. At the end you can unsubscribe at no cost, thus being able to put your hand on the PS5 with all the privileges of Prime subscribers, but at no cost.
It is not clear how many will be available, so it is not possible to know if at the end of the exclusive offer for Prima subscribers there will still be additional units available. It is not even clear when the offer can begin, given that at the moment it appears that it has not yet been activated. Those who want to get hold of the PS5 will have to go ahead, ultimately, make sure they are subscribed and arrive at the right time on the page.
Could the time be right to make Sony’s next-generation home your own?
Update 7/14 at 4:00 p.m.
The offer has not yet appeared. Hour after hour, the deadline of the 16th is approaching, but so far no one has been able to lay a hand on it.
Update 7/14 at 20:30
Not only did the PS5 not show up all day, but The reference to the exclusive for Prime subscribers has also disappeared from the page.. All that remains is to wait for what will happen tomorrow, to understand what went wrong with this offer not offer today.
