PlayStation 5 owners use loopholes to sell the PlayStation Plus collection to PlayStation 4 owners.
PS Plus subscribers who own a PS5 will get an eye-catching PS Plus collection for free. This is a new curation series of 20 PS4 games available for digital download. This list includes big names like Bloodborne, Days Gone, God of War, and Uncharted 4.
So VGC It didn’t take long for PS5 owners to discover and exploit loopholes that could log in to PS5 PS4 owners’ accounts, as reported. This unlocks the PS4 collection games.
And, perhaps inevitably, PS5 owners sell this unlocking “service” on auction sites. One list on eBay offers unlocking for $ 30. “For those who want to access the game but only have a PS4 and can’t access a PS5,” I read the ad description. “Log in your details on your PS5 to add and deactivate your game. We strongly recommend that you create a temporary password at the time of purchase and a new password when you’re done.”
The Canadian sites kijiji and Craigslist have similar lists, all with different prices. “If you need these games but don’t have a PS5, I’ll help you,” says one list.
To unlock the PS Plus collection on the PS4, one reportedly charged more than £ 100 to five more than 20 people. Of course, this wasn’t the way Sony intended to use the PS Plus collection, and there are reports that the ban has now begun-probably automated as an account theft and anti-sales measure. A Hong Kong-based Twitter user claimed that thousands of PSN accounts were banned in the region for exactly this reason.
Thousands of PSN accounts have been banned, and community discussions indicate that these accounts are concentrated in Hong Kong (@PlayStationHK ), And in common, I received Sony’s PS collection service for PS Plus. It includes a free server PS4 game. pic.twitter.com/ECWPRgVuO2

Currently, for example, some PS5 users who share the PS Plus collection with one friend have expressed concern that they may be caught in a ban wave. Sony hasn’t commented yet.
