Sony removes Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store

Date:

on the other hand Cyberpunk 2077 I wasn’t expecting Sony to remove the game directly from the download store, especially because it’s confusing on the console. Those who bought it there can still play, but Sony has introduced an open refund policy and has stopped selling cyberpunk on the PlayStation Store. Others can buy games with vintage technology still known as “discs”. However, the situation was certainly caused by the state of the game, but this particular move seems to ultimately be about refunds.

CD Projekt Red initially directed PlayStation Store buyers to Sony and the regular refund system, but CDPR soon rejected the request as many rejected the request. Well, wait a minute, wait a minute, this will reply to you.. After all, Sony’s bespoke cyberpunk blanket refund solution also includes the complete withdrawal of the game from in-store sales. It’s wild that this happens in these high-profile games.

“SIE is committed to ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and will begin offering full refunds to all gamers who purchase Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store,” said Sony. Cyberpunk refund page.. “SIE will also remove Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store until further notice.”

Why is this on a PC game site? Cos tells how much the CDPR bet on releasing the game in this state backfired. And hey, Sony pulled out the biggest game of the year from their store. And you will hear about this anyway. And, uh, let’s argue more, this means that cyberpunk is more of a PC game because it’s slightly less on the PlayStation. CP2077 is 16% more than PC games: I have your headline.

I agree with Graham’s Cyberpunk 2077 Review, It said “huge, vast, complex, terribly flawed” – just like noughties Eurojank. Really so. Despite all the bugs and junk (and honestly, sometimes thanks to them), I’m having a good time: it’s the spirit of Eurojank, baby.
