Spider-Man: Miles Morales contains inspiring compliments to Chadwick Boseman, Stanley

Reddit users Rollie Dell Marvel’s Spider-Man: The streets of Miles Morales turned out to be named after the late Chadwick Boseman.

Chadwick Boseman replaces 42nd Avenue in Miles Morales for PS5 and is located between 1st and 3rd Avenues.

Number 42 has a lot of implications for Boseman, who starred as Jackie Robinson in movie 42. In addition, number 42 will appear in both. Original Miles Morales Comic and Spider-Man: To Spider-Verse as a homage to Robinson.

The original story continues.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales includes a tribute to two Marvel Titans, Chadwick Boseman and Stanley, and a heartfelt message to the King of Wakanda. In the latest Marvel’s Spider-Man game, players are all sorts of Easter eggs and the larger Marvel Universe. But one compliment, though not hidden at all, is certainly heart-warming.

Small Spoilers for Spider-Man: The following Mile Morales Credits.

Spider-Man: After defeating Miles Morales, a message commemorating Chadwick Boseman, who played Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will be played during the credit.

It reads:

“In the loving memory of the noble king Chadwick Boseman. His honor, strength, and compassion will resonate with future generations. Wakanda will be forever.”

Boseman died in August 2020 at the age of 43 due to complications of colon cancer. Boseman kept his diagnosis private for years while continuing to appear in films such as Black Panther and Da5 Blood.

Miles Morales also includes another monument for Marvel’s Stanley, an in-game monument. A statue of the author of the legendary comic book can be found in the open world of the game on the Upper West Side next to Mick’s Diner.

Lee, who died in 2018, made a cameo as the owner of Mick’s Diner at Marvel’s Spider-Man for PS4. It’s been part of a long tradition of including Stanley in various Marvel projects, whether it’s movies, books, or anything else. A tribute to Lee has also been added to the post-launch Spider-Man PS4 credits. It’s great to see Miles Morales and the developers pay tribute to the two Marvel greats. Especially considering how recent their deaths are.
