TikTok tops the world’s most downloaded apps
With 850 million downloads in 2020, TikTok leads the ranking of the most downloaded applications and thus surpasses the applications owned by Mark Zuckerberg. We respectively find WhatsApp in second position (600 million downloads), then Facebook in third place (540 million downloads) and finally Instagram (503 million downloads) following the ranking.
With the increase in telecommuting, naturally Zoom is entering the ranking and is in the fifth position with 477 million downloads by 2020.
