The Minister of Communications announces good news to citizens about the Internet in the provinces

Eng. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications, said that the Egyptian information infrastructure consists of more than 100 fully linked databases.

The Communications Minister added, during a telephone interview with the “On My Responsibility” program, broadcast by the Sada Al-Balad channel, hosted by journalist Ahmed Moussa, that the main criterion for the success of any digital system is its ability to make an impact.

He noted that he had presented to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi the ministry’s plan for the development of Egyptian villages, and that the president was interested in the villages.

He revealed that the role of the Ministry of Communications lies in the fiber optic network, developing post offices and ensuring that their capacity serves the public, and there is a plan to develop offices in the towns.

He explained that the ministry is working to strengthen communication networks, and indicated that the Communications Ministry will work to connect the fiber optic network to the provinces for good Internet access.

Communications Minister Talaat said the city of knowledge is built on 200 acres and contains all modern technology equipment.Dr Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, inspected the building today.

He noted that the City of Knowledge contains 4 main buildings, and includes the first computer science university in the Middle East, and that the Misr Computer Science University in the Administrative Capital has signed an agreement with Purdue International University.

He pointed out that the deal in the government building in the Administrative Capital will be without papers or files and will be handled electronically, and that the government will be participatory and will exchange data and documents, and the citizen will have a single window to obtain what they want. needs.

He explained that any citizen who wants something from the capital will be through the Egyptian digital platform, since the citizen does not go to the capital to extract or perform any service.

He stressed that the state will save time for citizens and all that citizens need will be obtained.
