The new AMD Radeon RX 7000 series will consist of RDNA3 and RDNA2 GPUs – AMD

According to reliable sources, the AMD Radeon RX 7000 series of graphics cards will consist of GPUs based on both RDNA2 architecture and RDNA3 architecture.

Graphics cards to announce The company in the future and which will be based on GPUs based on the RDNA3 architecture and will be built at 5nm will be the high-end models, while the most economical graphics cards in the series will be based on the well-known RDNA2 architecture. RDNA3 architecture GPUs are codenamed Navi 31, Navi 32, and Navi 33 and will be at the heart of graphics cards that will replace the Radeon RX 6900, 6800 and 6700 series.

However, this is not a simple rebrand from the low-end cards that will be based on the RDNA2 architecture, as these Navi 2x GPUs will be built at 6nm and not at 7nm as is the current case. Therefore, only from the “shrinkage” of the transistors can we expect any improvement in the performance / watt ratio. We can also expect some improvement from the increase in watches.

GPUs of this type include Navi 22 and Navi 23; the former has 40 RDNA2 CU (Compute Units) and a 192-bit GDDR6 memory bus and the latter has 32 RDNA2 CUs and a 128-bit GDDR6 memory bus.

As for the Navi 4x GPUs, they will be based on the RDNA4 architecture and will be built at 3nm / 5nm.
