Rockstar Games has surprisingly announced a kind of “Battle Pass” for the online multiplayer component GTA Online for GTA 5. This paid membership grants certain benefits and bonuses for a monthly fee of 5.99 euros.
Surprisingly, a new subscription model called GTA+ was announced for Grand Theft Online. It will be available from March 29, 2022. What are the exact conditions and what advantages can players expect from the “Battle Pass” for GTA 5? We give a short summary.
What are the advantages of GTA Plus?
With the announced subscription model called GTA+ for GTA Online, players will receive certain benefits in the future. For €5.99 per month, a member receives GTA$500,000 per month as a transfer to their in-game bank account. Additionally, the player can purchase select properties in and around Los Santos that unlock new game upgrades. There are also special vehicle upgrades, exclusive new clothing, members-only discounts and bonus GTA$ & RP and more.
GTA 5: It started cheaper on PS5 than on Xbox Series X – preload
This month, GTA Plus members can look forward to a performance vehicle with priority access to upgrades and skins from Hao’s Special Works, an auto repair shop, and a royalty-free LS Car Meet membership. GTA+ members can also purchase special cash cards from the Playstation Store and Microsoft Store that come with an additional cash bonus. GTA+ is available exclusively for GTA Online on Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S starting March 29. Cancellation is possible at any time. A subscription model for the PC platform has not yet been announced.
