Whatsapp puts more order in group voice calls

Date:

Group chats tend to be confusing. And not just for text messages. It is also lively when entertaining large groups. Whatsapp is now taking countermeasures with new features.

Berlin – Mute participants, direct messages to other participants and notifications about joining: these three new features aim to make group conversations with Whatsapp more comfortable and orderly. After all, with up to 32 possible participants allowed by the messenger, it can quickly become chaotic.

Targeted muting of others can be useful, for example, if one or more participants can hear disturbing background noise during the group voice call. And the new messaging feature allows you to quickly and directly message other group members without missing any of the conversation.

And what about banner notifications? If a new participant joins the group voice call, but cannot be seen on their own screen due to the size of the group and limited viewing area, they will receive a notification that says “XY joined the call.” So you can be sure to always know if someone has joined and who they are. dop
