Logitech’s new trackball mouse is a $ 50 hack to free up desk space

Date:

Logitech’s new trackball mouse, Ergo M575Is the successor to 10 year old Ergo M570.. It has a longer battery life, can be connected via Bluetooth Low Energy, and is compatible with a wide range of devices. Battery life is estimated to be 24 months (from 18 months) when using Logitech’s USB receiver and 20 months when connecting via Bluetooth. It’s powered by a single AA battery and costs $ 49.99 (£ 44.99).

The trackball mouse takes some getting used to, but it’s perfect for small desks because you don’t have to move the mouse to control the cursor. If you are suffering from a lack of space while working from home, this could be a good alternative to traditional mice.

There are two programmable buttons on the left side of the mouse.
