Galaxy Buds Pro has its own version of “Spatial Audio”

Date:

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Buds Pro seems to be the company’s right competitor to Apple’s superior AirPods Pro. We’re currently digging into Galaxy Buds Pro and those features, including new features similar to Apple’s Spatial Audio, thanks to an early leak in Samsung’s own app.

Found in The Galaxy Store has a new update that introduces the Galaxy Buds Pro and its features to the Galaxy Wearable app that Samsung uses to control various smartwatches and earphones.

Like the Galaxy Buds, +, and Live, Samsung has an equalizer with some presets available in the app, customizable touch controls, the ability to read notifications, the “find earphones” option, and several other features. there is.There’s also a noise canceling section, but it’s a bit different from what we’ve seen On Galaxy Buds Live.. Instead of a simple switch, there are on, off, and “ambient sound” options, the latter capturing external sound from the microphone.

What’s new in Buds Pro? Three important features. First, there is a “voice detection” function. This will detect you as you speak, reduce the volume of your media, and turn on audio passthrough, allowing you to have a simple conversation without removing your earphones or pausing music. Samsung is also adding left and right sound balance features for people with certain hearing impairments.

Perhaps most notable is a copy of Apple’s “Spatial Audio” feature for the Galaxy Buds Pro. Its function is Available on AirPods Pro and AirPods Max can create fake surround sound systems that redirect audio based on head orientation and phone position. This is a great idea, but it has one big requirement. Samsung will ensure that this “Spatial Audio” competitor works only when the Galaxy Buds Pro is connected to an Android 11 Samsung phone.

You’ll hear vibrant and immersive sounds from all directions, making you feel like you’re in the scene when you’re watching a video.

The app also leaked 3 renders of Buds Pro. Samsung plans to debut Bad Pro in January with the Galaxy S21 series smartphones. So far, pricing information hasn’t been released early, but these could be the high end of Samsung’s lineup. Buds + usually sells for around $ 149, while Buds Live costs $ 169. It’s not surprising that Buds Pro is approaching $ 200, but there’s nothing to back it up yet.
