The Democratic Party, in the human being of the coordinator Nicola Oddati, in a collection of statements has unloaded Antonio Castorina, attributing to him all the (alleged) nefarious manipulations in the current municipal elections and de facto pre-absolving Mayor Giuseppe Falcomatà. Oddati works by using a questionable argument: what took place is critical, but the mayor was not mindful of almost everything. In reference to the alleged illegitimate appointments in dozens of seats, the alleged tarot votes and every little thing we know for now about the investigation of the Prosecutor’s Place of work, the defensive method of the Democratic Party would seem by now outlined. Excluding the reality that at minimum Nicola Oddati has shown character in addressing journalists’ queries, his arguments are particularly fragile and, shall we say, legally unsafe. Not only that: Oddati does not compute in the the very least the enormous fiduciary destruction that this point prompted in the voters who were being asked to vote in the course of the election marketing campaign. A damage that severely undermines self-confidence in the electoral mechanisms. There can be no double ethical regular.
