I was planning to upgrade my PC or build it from scratch because it’s getting on in years.

1.) What components does your current PC have?
CPU: Intel Xeon E3 1231v3
Graphics card: Gainward GTX 1080 Phoenix GLH
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 24GB, DDR3, 1600MHz (2x 8GB, 2x 4GB)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA H97-D3H
Case: Fractal Arc Midi R2 Design
Storage Media: Crucial M500 240GB (System) + Seagate Barracuda 2TB (Data) + Sandisk Ultra 3D SSD 4TB (Games)

2.) What is the resolution and frequency of your monitor?
3840 x 2160, 60 Hz
Currently, however, I “only” play in WQHD, otherwise the GTX 1080 is a bit weak

3.) What PC components (CPU, GPU, RAM), if available, are limiting you at the moment?
CPU, graphics card

4.) When should you buy the new PC or upgrade the existing one?
Have a vacation until January 10, so soon the Ryzen is now halfway available again
Graphics card only in spring or when available

5.) Other than PC hardware, is there anything else I need?
No

So far there is no fixed budget, but I also do not want to waste money without meaning

8.) What games / applications do you want to play / use?
everything imaginable

9.) How much storage space do you need?
As for that, I just want to replace the system disk (SSD) with a m.2 SSD (think 512GB), the rest remains like this

10.) Are there other wishes?
I’ll keep the case, there’s no reason for me to change it
32 GB RAM
The Ryzen 7 5800X is planned as a CPU, I don’t intend to overclock so I’m not sure if I should buy an X570 or a B550 motherboard
If available, the RTX 3070Ti is planned as a graphics card in a few months (supposedly yet to come out and the 3070 is too weak for me and the 8GB memory is no longer particularly up to date)
