A video shot during a riot at the US Capitol on Wednesday shows a police officer screaming in pain as he is crushed in the doorway by a Trump supporter mob.

The mobs were trying to force through the western entrance of the building, according to CNN, which aired on Friday night.

The video shows a group of police officers in riot control equipment blocking the door, but large mobs are trying to push through all at once.

At some point, a policeman is locked in the doorway and shouts “Help!”. Between the cry of pain.

The person who took the video told CNN police that it was successful in preventing people from moving further to the building at this location.

The status of the police officer in the video is unknown.

Riots broke the building, lawmakers evacuated, and five people, including one police officer, were killed.

Parliamentary police confirmed that police officer Brian D. Sicknick had died after being injured while “physically involved with the protesters.”

The riots occurred when Congress was meeting for a joint session to prove the victory of President-elect Joe Biden.

During a rally protesting the outcome of the election, President Donald Trump spoke to his supporters, marched to the Capitol to his supporters, and referred to his groundless claims of fraudulent elections. I urged him to “stop stealing.”
